Courses conducted under the Village Service Project of the World Community Service Center, has been of great benefit to the people from our village. For example, Smt. Avvaiyar, who had been residing with her son at Bangalore for some time now, returned to the village in poor physical condition. She, after undergoing training in Manavalakkalai Yoga, has stopped calling on doctors for treatment. When her sons requested her to stay with them, rather than live alone in the village, she replied that she was not alone but lived with Manavalakkalai for company. The practices have brought changes into the lives of many others from the village also. The Project has transformed our village into a haven of good health and peace. People’s Feedback

I find peace by practicing meditation in accordance with Manavalakkalai Yoga. I, who suffer from piles, have found relief through the practice of Kaya Kalpa. Lack of proper blood circulation in my left arm and leg resulted in severe pain, which, to a certain extent was, cured through physical exercises. I am able to sit comfortably now. My weight has also been reduced to comfortable levels.

Quarrels near street water taps, ill-feelings between neighbours,people of all ages suffering from a variety of ailments like arthritis and diabetes was common in our village. But things have changed since the time people from the village began to attend Manavalakkalai Yoga classes; they are happy and bless each other with the words Vazhga Valamudan regularly. It is impressing to see people, who had earlier suffered from knee and hip pain, sit in Vajrasana in the classroom. Village Service Project has turned our village into a place of peace and good health.

I visited the health camp held at Koohalur village under the Village Service Project in connection with my problem with diabetes. A team of experts from the field of medicine checked our blood-sugar levels, blood pressure and other parameters, every day. They took good care of us all the time. Regular practice of physical exercises, Kaya Kalpa, meditation and introspection helped me control my blood sugar levels and become physically and mentally fit. I find myself at peace. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Manavalakkalai Yoga practices. Vazhga Valamudan.

I, Kandasamy, used to suffer from pain in my legs which prevented me from working the loom. I also had problems in my chest. Practice of Manavalakkalai Yoga, taught to people from our village under the Village Service Project of the World Community Service Center, has improved my health. I am free of pain in my legs and am able to operate the loom comfortably. Problems in my chest have also been relieved.
