Courses conducted under the Village Service Project of the World Community Service Center, has been of great benefit to the people from our village. For example, Smt. Avvaiyar, who had been residing with her son at Bangalore for some time now, returned to the village in poor physical condition. She, after undergoing training in Manavalakkalai Yoga, has stopped calling on doctors for treatment. When her sons requested her to stay with them, rather than live alone in the village, she replied that she was not alone but lived with Manavalakkalai for company. The practices have brought changes into the lives of many others from the village also. The Project has transformed our village into a haven of good health and peace. I find peace by practicing meditation in accordance with Manavalakkalai Yoga. I, who suffer from piles, have found relief through the practice of Kaya Kalpa. Lack of proper blood circulation in my left arm and leg resulted in severe pain, which, to a certain extent was, cured through physical exercises. I am able to sit comfortably now. My weight has also been reduced to comfortable levels.
