I, for the last 10 years, have been suffering from menstrual cramps, which had to be treated with the help of medicines. It was around then that Manavalakkalai Yoga was introduced in our village, under the Village Service Project. I took part in the classes and have been cured of my problems. I was suffering from acute hip pain on account of a fall I had suffered, which even medicines failed to cure. Manavalakkalai Yoga, which I have been practicing regularly, has relieved me to a very great extent. I indeed am happy that physical exercises could cure something which even medicines could not.

I am 47 years old and was badly addicted to liquor. I was not of much use to my family also. I study in the 10th standard but, unfortunately, lack interest t in my studies. Manavalakkalai Yoga has changed all that and I find myself deeply involved with my studies. I am able to secure 47 – 48 marks out of a possible 50, which makes me very happy. I practice Thuriyatheetha meditation without fail and it helps me remain calm always. I am able to understand my mother and respect her. Our family is happy and at peace.

I had problems with my eyes and had to replace my spectacles for fresh ones every 6 months. But eye exercises, during the last 1 year, have prevented increase in the power of my glasses. I had my eyes examined recently and the results showed no deterioration in the functions.

I never used to listen to the words of my mother-in-law. As my husband was employed overseas, I did not have anyone to communicate with freely. I found the situation hard, especially with a child of my own. But Manavalakkalai Yoga has produced changes and I find myself listening to the good and kind words of my mother-in-law.
