I was suffering from acute hip pain on account of a fall I had suffered, which even medicines failed to cure. Manavalakkalai Yoga, which I have been practicing regularly, has relieved me to a very great extent. I indeed am happy that physical exercises could cure something which even medicines could not.

I am 47 years old and was badly addicted to liquor. I was not of much use to my family also. I began attending Manavalakkalai Yoga classes, and the practices, along with the care shown by the masters, has helped cure me of my habit. I go to work regularly and take care of my family now. I study in the 10th standard but, unfortunately, lack interest t in my studies. Manavalakkalai Yoga has changed all that and I find myself deeply involved with my studies. I am able to secure 47 – 48 marks out of a possible 50, which makes me very happy. I practice Thuriyatheetha meditation without fail and it helps me remain calm always. I am able to understand my mother and respect her. Our family is happy and at peace.

I had problems with my eyes and had to replace my spectacles for fresh ones every 6 months. But eye exercises, during the last 1 year, have prevented increase in the power of my glasses. I had my eyes examined recently and the results showed no deterioration in the functions.

I never used to listen to the words of my mother-in-law. As my husband was employed overseas, I did not have anyone to communicate with freely. I found the situation hard, especially with a child of my own. But Manavalakkalai Yoga has produced changes and I find myself listening to the good and kind words of my mother-in-law. I could not use my legs properly and had been unable to walk from the time I was born. I used to attend school with the help of my friends. Manavalakkalai masters, who were aware of my condition, took the trouble to teach me the practices at my house. They also instilled courage and confidence in me, with the help of Maharishi’s words. I, at the end of 4 months of regular practice, am able to take care of my needs, without help from the others. I am confident I shall recover fully with the help of the practices.

I was addicted to liquor and the use of arecanuts, which made me lazy and indolent. I was unable to attend to my duties in a proper manner; but Manavalakkalai Yoga has produced changes whereby I am free of the evil habits and able to attend to my work with care. My father used to come home drunk and beat us, which troubled my mother greatly. He has also recovered after taking up Manavalakkalai Yoga and we are able to live happily. I study and practice Yoga at school also.
