Duraiyur Village was adopted under the Village Service Project of the World Community Service Center and Manavalakkalai Yoga was taught to its residents for free. People, who were taught a simplified form of yoga, have become physically and mentally healthy. All this was probably made possible through the blessings received in return for the noble deeds performed by our ancestors. I, on behalf of the people of the village, express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved with the Project.

Divine grace and the noble deeds performed by our ancestors were probably the reason why people from our village were blessed with an opportunity to study and practice Manavalakkalai Yoga under the Village Service Project. The practices have rejuvenated us physically and mentally, helping us perform our duties better.Meditation practices, which bring down the frequencies of the mind waves, have provided us with peace and tranquility. Masters, polite and humble in their behavior, took great care while teaching the participants. The practices have helped us remain healthy and active.
